**Position Overview**

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Shadow Teacher to support children with special needs within mainstream classrooms. The shadow teacher will provide one-on-one assistance, ensuring the child is engaged, safe, and making progress both academically and socially. This role is ideal for freshers or individuals passionate about working with children with learning or developmental challenges.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide individual support to the assigned child throughout the school day
- Assist with academic activities, classroom routines, and social interactions
- Reinforce concepts taught by the main teacher using simple and adaptive methods
- Help the child stay focused, manage behaviors, and follow instructions
- Collaborate with the class teacher and special educator to implement strategies and IEP goals
- Offer emotional support, encouragement, and build a trusting relationship with the child
- Maintain basic daily notes on progress, participation, and challenges faced
- Attend training sessions or workshops conducted by the school for professional growth

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Minimum: Graduate in any stream (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, B.ED, Any Teacher training course, etc.)
- Passion for working with children, especially those with special needs
- Freshers are welcome; training will be provided
- Good communication and observation skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn

*Desirable (But Not Mandatory)*
- Certificate/Diploma in Special Education, Child Psychology, or Early Childhood Education
- Prior volunteering or internship experience in special education settings
- Basic understanding of Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, etc.
