Store Keeper

**Job Summary**:
As a Store Keeper in the manufacturing industry, you will be responsible for the efficient management and organization of inventory within the warehouse or storage facility. Your role includes overseeing stock levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and collaborating with other departments to meet production and distribution requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet production demands.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- **Order Fulfillment**:

- Process and fulfill internal requisitions from various departments.
- Prepare and pack items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with procurement to replenish stock as needed.
- **Record-Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate records of all stock movements, including receipts, issues, and returns.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, stock usage, and discrepancies.
- Utilize inventory management systems for efficient record-keeping.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity.
- Monitor stock for damaged or expired goods and take appropriate actions.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure compliance with standards.
- **Space Management**:

- Optimize warehouse space through effective storage and organization.
- Implement and maintain a systematic layout for easy retrieval of items.
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the storage area.
- **Cooperation with Other Departments**:

- Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to fulfill material requirements.
- Communicate effectively with various departments to understand their inventory needs.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in handling materials.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
- Participate in safety training programs as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma (Mechanical / Chemical)or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management is a plus.
- BE (Mechanical/ Chemical)
- years of experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.

3+ years in manufacturing industry

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
