**About the Role**
- As part of the Intelligent Cockpit SPACE1 AR HUD Project Team you will be a part of developing the electronics for augmented reality heads up displays for customer awarded projects.

**What You Will Do**
- Support the hardware/electrical design for the product to meet development schedule and quality through the whole product life cycle
- Responsible for realization of electronic system designs and schematics
- Analyze customer requirements in order to understand and determine appropriate circuit implementations
- Work with PCB layout engineer to implement optimized PCB layouts with compliance to EMC & manufacturing design rules while meeting mechanical packaging requirements
- Design, simulate and verify the electrical circuits and determine the performance characteristics using SPICE, ANSYS, Mentor, and/or other engineering tools
- Plan and implement HW verification during product development, to ensure the electrical design meets specifications and requirements, by recording and analyzing test data
- Manage and release the electrical BOMs
- Support failure analysis, investigation, and resolve of EMC issues in testing
- Support the development and review of the environmental and EMC hardware validation test plans with the validation engineers
- Support the manufacturing team related to DFM and test reviews and technical build issues
- Support electronic design reviews both with the internal cross-functional teams
- Support the development and review of DFMEAs and FuSa work products
- Work with senior engineering talent to develop your technical expertise
- Follow current hardware development process and also contribute to process improvement
- Support departmental initiatives and activities as directed by the department supervisor

**What You Need**
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in the field of automotive electronics engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with electrical schematic such as Mentor Graphics, OrCAD, Cadence, or similar
- Understanding of PCB layout concepts and best practices
- Familiarity with electrical simulation tools is preferred, such as ANSYS signal integrity and power integrity, HyperLynx, SPICE, or similar
- Familiarity with cockpit electronics related technologies is preferred, such as high-speed SOCs, DRAM, flash, microcontrollers, CAN, Ethernet, LVDS/oLDI video, SerDes, (GMSL, FPDLink), displays, and linear and switching power supplies
- Knowledge of Automotive EMC requirements is preferred, including EMC troubleshooting
- Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and multimeters
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with electronic circuits and perform root cause analysis in order to determine corrective actions
- Ability to analyze and optimize circuits and designs for cost
- Ability to perform worst case circuit analysis
- Strong documentation and reporting skills

**What is Nice to Have**
- Experience designing cockpit electronics + displays (HUD, Cluster, Infotainment, etc.)
- Knowledge of ISO26262, ASPICE, and other automotive related standards
