**Position Overview**: The Stenographer is responsible for transcribing spoken words into written form using shorthand, transcription equipment, or specialized software. The Stenographer will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentiality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Transcription**: Listen to verbal communications (e.g., meetings, speeches, legal proceedings) and transcribe them into accurate written text using shorthand, dictation equipment, or specialized software.
- **Document Preparation**: Prepare, format, and proofread typed documents for accuracy, grammar, and formatting consistency.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of transcribed materials, files, and documents for future reference.
- **Confidentiality**: Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and ensure all transcriptions adhere to privacy standards.
- **Meeting Support**: Attend meetings, conferences, or court sessions, providing real-time transcription services.
- **Data Entry**: Input data into computerized systems or databases as required.
- **Reporting**: Provide completed transcriptions to the relevant stakeholders (e.g., managers, legal professionals, executives).
- **Communication**: Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure clear understanding of transcribed content and meet deadlines.
- **File Management**: Organize and maintain both physical and digital files related to transcriptions and other documents.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Stenographer, Transcriptionist, or similar role.
- Proficiency in shorthand or other transcription tools/software.
- Strong typing and data entry skills.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of legal, medical, or technical terminology (depending on the industry) is a plus.
- High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information.
- A degree or certification in stenography, transcription, or a related field is preferred.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time or part-time depending on the employer's needs.
- Must be comfortable working in environments where fast transcription is critical

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
