**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Architect and Design firmware for the embedded products.
- Closely work with the Product Managers to translate the customer requirements into the technical and functional requirements.
- Responsible for global governance and integration of the technology stack
- Responsible for QDC targets - Quality, Delivery and Cost
- Assess product requirements including design, Infrastructure, cost and develop competency plans to achieve required technical skills for embedded products
- Support platform tests, automation, and validation projects.
- Technical reviewer and sign off authority for service architecture and design
- Conduct POCs to resolve the technical dilemmas for a quick problem resolution.
- Compliance to Quality Management Systems and QuEST policies and processes
- Interface with chief architects, Engineering leaders and specialists in customers organizations for developing managed service strategies and performing critical milestone reviews
- Liaison with customers and team leaders for managing requirements and integrations.
- Project lifecycle management (initiation to closure) including project health tracking and reporting of larger projects, tasks, or modules

**Required Skills (Technical Competency)**:

- 12+ years of experience in programming using C, C++, ALP on Linux or RTOSes.
- Solid experience in Linux Programming.
- Experience in embedded product development involving Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and LTE.
- Experience on SPI, I2C, USB, UART and RS485.
- Experience in Shell Scripting, or Python.
- Linux Board bring Up, U-boot and Linux internals.
- Experience in FOTA.
- Data Structures, Multi-threaded programming, multi-processor programming.
- Experience in Security like HSM or SHE.
- UML understanding is required.

**Desired Skills**:

- Automotive Firmware development is a big plus.
- Experience in CV2X implementation.
- AUTOSAR experience is plus.
