**About the Role**:
We're hiring a Billing & Accounts Associate, to support our mental health clinics in the United States with insurance paperwork, invoicing, and claim tracking. This is a remote role based in India, and we will provide full training on the US healthcare billing process.

We also operate a clinic in Mumbai, so you'll be part of a growing global team with presence in both countries.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create invoices for therapy sessions using CPT codes and session logs.
- Submit insurance claims through online portals or clearinghouses.
- Verify insurance coverage before the client's first session.
- Track claims - monitor submission status, follow up on delays, and resolve denials.
- Work with therapists to ensure notes and documentation are compliant with insurance requirements.
- Use CPT and ICD-10 codes correctly (training provided)
- Send superbills to clients who request them.
- Handle client payments - send reminders, log payments, and follow up on outstanding amounts.
- Maintain billing spreadsheets and logs accurately.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on billing and collections.
- Maintain client confidentiality in line with HIPAA guidelines (training provided)

**Requirements**:

- 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounts, or finance
- Comfortable with Excel / Google Sheets
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willing to work evening/night shifts (aligned to US time)
- Quick learner, able to pick up new software and billing systems
- Stable internet connection and laptop

**Preferred (Not Mandatory)**:

- Experience with US-based clients or in the healthcare sector
- Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, or insurance billing systems
