**Job Title**:Academic Mentor**
**Location: Ernakulam, Kerala**
**Job Type: Hybrid, Remote**
**Eduactional Qualification**: A degree in a science-related field, such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline.
**Job Summary**
Academic Mentor will be responsible for guiding and supporting students as they prepare for competitive exams through virtual mentorship and academic assistance. This role involves engaging students remotely, offering personalized support, and promoting effective study habits in an online learning environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Virtual Mentorship & Guidance**:
- Provide one-on-one or group mentorship to students via online platforms, focusing on academic needs and exam preparation strategies.
- Motivate students in a remote setting, helping them stay committed to their study schedules and goals.
- **Online Curriculum Support**:
- Facilitate students' understanding of complex concepts using virtual tools and resources.
- Provide feedback on curriculum materials and suggest enhancements to optimize online learning experiences.
- **Progress Monitoring**:
- Track and assess student progress remotely, providing regular feedback and actionable recommendations.
- Identify common challenges and troubleshoot learning issues by hosting virtual study sessions.
- **Webinars & Online Workshops**:
- Conduct virtual workshops on study skills, test-taking techniques, and time management.
- Participate in online events, webinars, and Q&A sessions organized by the institution.
- **Digital Resource Development**:
- Develop or recommend online resources, study guides, and practice materials tailored to students' specific needs.
- Collaborate with other online mentors and staff to share effective practices for virtual mentorship.
**Qualifications**
- **Educational Requirements**:
- **Experience**:
- Prior experience in online tutoring, academic mentoring, or virtual teaching for competitive exams is preferred.
- **Skills and Competencies**:
- Proficiency in online communication and teaching tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, virtual whiteboards).
- Excellent virtual communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and an empathetic approach.

- **Adaptability**: Ability to effectively use digital platforms and adjust mentoring techniques to fit a remote setting.
- **Empathy and Motivation**: An approachable mentor who can encourage students and build strong connections online.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
