Hardware and Networking Technician

**Responsibilities**:
1. Hardware Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to computers, servers, printers, and other electronic devices used within the company.

2. Networking Support: Set up, configure, and maintain the company's local area network (LAN), ensuring smooth connectivity and optimal performance for all connected devices.

3. Hardware Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of IT equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent any potential issues.

5. Data Security: Implement security measures and protocols to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access to the company's network.

6. E-Waste Management: Assist with the handling and disposal of electronic waste, following environmentally friendly practices and regulations.

7. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to employees with hardware and network-related inquiries.

8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, network configurations, and service history.

9. Collaborate with IT Team: Work alongside the IT department to coordinate projects and ensure seamless integration of new hardware and networking solutions.

10. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest hardware and networking technologies and suggest improvements to enhance the company's IT infrastructure.

**Requirements**:
1. Education: A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant certifications will be considered.

2. Experience: Proven experience as a Hardware and Networking Technician or a similar role. Experience in managing e-waste is a plus.

3. Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).

4. Troubleshooting Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues promptly.

5. Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to provide technical support to colleagues and document procedures.

6. Team Player: Ability to collaborate with the IT team and work in a cooperative environment.

7. Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to hardware maintenance and network configuration to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
