Assistant Professor in Logistics

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Procurement and related areas.
- Develop and deliver course content, case studies, simulations and practical exercises.
- Guide student research projects, dissertations and internships.
- Conduct academic research and publish in reputed journals and conferences.
- Organize seminars, workshops, industrial visits and guest lectures in coordination with the industry.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and academic innovation.
- Support accreditation, quality assurance and outcome-based education initiatives.
- Engage with industry to build partnerships, consultancy projects and placements.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- MBA/M.Sc./M.Com in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or relevant specialization from a recognized institution.
- Ph.D. or UGC NET qualification (preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of teaching or relevant industry experience.
- Strong understanding of logistics networks, warehousing, inventory control, procurement, transportation and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with tools like SAP, Tally ERP, Excel, WMS or SCM software.
- Excellent communication and classroom engagement skills.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience in international logistics and global supply chain trends.
- Certifications like CSCP, CPIM, Six Sigma or Lean Management.
- Knowledge of NEP 2020 and outcome-based education methodologies.
- Industry exposure or previous experience in logistics firms, shipping, manufacturing, or retail.
- Ability to integrate case-based, experiential, and technology-driven learning in the classroom.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
