**Full job description**
A Pantry Boy, also known as a Pantry Assistant, is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the office pantry, ensuring that all supplies are stocked, and assisting with the preparation of beverages or snacks for staff and guests. Their duties include:
- **Maintaining Pantry Supplies**: Ensure that the pantry is well-stocked with items like tea, coffee, snacks, and disposable supplies. Regularly check for stock levels and reorder as needed.
- **Cleaning and Organizing**: Keep the pantry area clean, organized, and hygienic. Wash and clean utensils, cups, and other kitchenware used by employees.
- **Preparing Beverages & Snacks**: Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and other beverages, and occasionally light snacks for employees and guests.
- **Assisting Staff**: Help employees with any pantry-related requests, such as providing additional refreshments or assisting with lunch orders.
- **Handling Deliveries**: Receive and manage deliveries of pantry supplies and ensure that items are stored properly.
- **Ensuring Hygiene Standards**: Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the pantry, adhering to safety regulations.
- **Supporting Events**: Assist with setting up and maintaining refreshments during office events or meetings.
The role requires attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment.
