**About the role**:An Apparel Merchandiser can encompass creative, analytical,

digital, commercial, and administrative responsibilities. They work closely with people at all levels to maximize the growth and development of the organization's product portfolio and achieve corporate goals. Key responsibilities of a product merchandiser include fabric sourcing, Cost optimization, Negotiations, pre-costing and final costing, raw material procurement, and production handover.

**Responsibilities**: Develop, execute, manage, and maintain concepts appropriate to the merchandising planning processes and strategies focusing on the right market trends, consumer behaviours, products, prices, and distributor profiles, to achieve departmental goals for cost and profit margins.
- Prepare Seasonal Order Sheet and consolidate Order

Forecast in a timely manner, gathering all necessary information of Seasonal /Annual Product, Cost, & Product schedule and liaise with the manufacturers.
- To review sales history and monitor how well different products are performing and identifying the reasons behind margins below expectations and alert management to the problem.
- Understand and identify current, future trends and challenges with detailed analysis.
- Check all other necessary trims price and fabric’s price.

Prepare bill of material (BOM) sheet and get ready to procure all sample items from local and abroad.
- Fix estimate time of delivery (ETD) of sample and inform to buyer.
- Examine fabric and trims quality and analyse their price, lead time etc. to make it competitive.
- Perform Lap dips and other lab test and send all lab reports, fabric swatch to buyer for approvals.
- Coordination with fabric vendors for sampling developments and production procurement and record fabric information.
- Product costing after the protos gets approved and suggest any changes if required to meet production timelines and quality.
- Compiling procurement orders for production and ensuring timely raw materials delivery.
- Keep replenishing the best sellers with proper planning.
- Providing quality approvals for all production fabrics and trims.

**requirements**: 3+ Years of experience in Retail/Ecommerce.
- Microsoft Excel skills should be excellent.
- Strong client servicing skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication and inter personal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel & Power Point
- Excellent time management & organizational skills
- Ability to work in collaboration with team to execute individual and team driven goals
