**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the kitchen is clean, well-maintained, and organized at all times.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen floors, workstations, and food storage areas.
- Assist in food preparation and storage as needed.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and regulations.
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling.
- Support the kitchen staff in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Kitchen Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Kitchen Steward or similar role.
- Knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred.
