**Programme**: International Baccalaureate (IB) - Middle Years Programme (Grades 6-8)

**Role Overview**

The MYP Coordinator will be responsible for leading, implementing, and overseeing the IB Middle Years Programme (Grades 6-8). The role requires close collaboration with school leadership, teachers, students, and parents to ensure effective curriculum delivery in line with IB standards and practices.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the IB MYP curriculum across Grades 6-8.
- Ensure compliance with IB standards and practices, including curriculum documentation, assessment, and reporting.
- Guide and mentor teachers in the effective use of IB pedagogical strategies.
- Organize and facilitate professional development workshops for MYP staff.
- Coordinate with the IB organization for authorizations, evaluations, and ongoing programme requirements.
- Oversee unit planning, assessment design, and student portfolios.
- Foster international-mindedness and promote the IB Learner Profile within the school community.
- Communicate regularly with parents and stakeholders regarding MYP goals, expectations, and student progress.
- Collaborate with the PYP and DP coordinators to ensure programme continuity and vertical alignment.
- Monitor and report on student achievement, engagement, and wellbeing.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in IB schools.
- Prior experience as an MYP teacher; coordination/leadership experience is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IB MYP curriculum, assessment practices, and philosophy.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to mentor, inspire, and support teachers in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
