Electrical Technician

As a Technician, you will connect or stick different electronic parts together using soldering methods. You will make sure that electronic products like circuit boards, wires, and other electrical devices work well and have good quality. You will need a good eye for detail and know-how of soldering methods to do your work.

**Responsibilities**
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics to understand the soldering requirements for each project.
- Assemble and solder electronic components onto circuit boards or other electrical equipment according to specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect finished products to identify any soldering defects or quality issues, and assess if rework or repairs are needed.
- Operate and maintain soldering equipment, including soldering irons, hot air guns, solder pots, and soldering stations, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
- Clean, flux, and tin soldering tips, ensuring they are ready for use and maintaining their performance.
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any soldering-related issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
- Maintain and update documentation related to soldering processes, including quality control records, inspection reports, and material usage logs.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to provide input on soldering techniques and contribute to product improvement and innovation.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements or trends in soldering techniques and equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.

**Required Skills**:

- Proficiency in soldering techniques, including through-hole soldering, surface mount technology (SMT) soldering, and rework/reflow soldering.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle small electronic components and perform intricate soldering tasks.
- Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of soldering work.
- Knowledge of different soldering materials, fluxes, and solders, and their appropriate usage.
- Familiarity with soldering equipment, tools, and accessories, and the ability to operate and maintain them effectively.
- Basic understanding of electronic components and their functions.
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve soldering-related issues.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and provide feedback on soldering processes.
- Time management skills to meet production deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

**Required Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in soldering or vocational training in electronics or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Solderer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive soldering tasks.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month
