**Job Title**:Principal/Principal Incharge & HOD/HOD Incharge**

**Salary**: ₹30,000 - ₹60,000 per month (Principal/Principal Incharge)
₹20,000 - ₹40,000 per month (HOD/HOD Incharge)

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Experience**: Minimum 10 years for Principal/Principal Incharge
Minimum 5 years for HOD/HOD Incharge

**Qualifications for Mass Communication Principal**:

- **Educational Qualifications**:

- A Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field from a recognized university.
- A Ph.D. in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a closely related discipline is highly desirable.

**Responsibilities:Principal/Principal Incharge - Mass Communication Department**:

- **Leadership & Management**:

- Oversee all academic and administrative functions of the Mass Communication Department.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the quality of education and departmental performance.
- Ensure that programs are aligned with industry trends and educational standards.
- **Faculty & Staff Development**:

- Lead the recruitment, training, and professional development of faculty and staff.
- Promote a collaborative and innovative academic environment.
- **Academic Excellence**:

- Monitor and enhance the quality of teaching and learning within the department.
- Address student and faculty concerns and facilitate effective solutions.
- **Compliance & Accreditation**:

- Ensure the department meets all regulatory requirements and maintains accreditation standards.
- Coordinate with accrediting bodies and participate in the accreditation process.
- **Strategic Planning**:

- Set long-term goals for the department and lead initiatives to achieve them.
- Manage departmental resources efficiently to support academic objectives.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Build relationships with industry professionals, alumni, and the community to enhance departmental reputation and opportunities.
- Represent the department at internal and external events.

**HOD/HOD Incharge - Mass Communication Department**:

- **Departmental Leadership**:

- Manage the daily operations of the Mass Communication Department.
- Ensure effective delivery of academic programs and adherence to educational standards.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Develop and update the curriculum to reflect the latest industry practices and academic advancements.
- Oversee the creation of course materials and teaching methods.
- **Faculty Supervision**:

- Provide guidance and support to faculty members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate professional development.
- **Student Support**:

- Monitor student progress and provide support to ensure academic success.
- Address student issues and facilitate conflict resolution as needed.
- **Research & Innovation**:

- Encourage research activities and innovative projects within the department.
- Stay updated on industry trends and integrate new findings into the curriculum.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Maintain high teaching and learning standards within the department.
- Ensure all courses comply with accreditation and regulatory requirements.

**Requirements:Principal/Principal Incharge**:

- **Education**: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 10 years of experience in educational leadership, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
- **Skills**:

- Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of mass communication and media industry trends.
- Proficiency in academic administration and compliance processes.
