**Job Summary**:
This is a hands-on technical role best suited for professionals with strong diagnostic skills, deep knowledge of refrigeration systems, and a proven track record in the HVAC-R field.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To effectively choose and calculate the right components for a refrigeration system, particularly the compressor, condenser coils, evaporator coils, expansion valve, and thermostat.
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair all types of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure energy efficiency and system longevity.
- Perform refrigerant leak detection, gas charging, and component replacements (compressors, motors, thermostats, filters, etc.).
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, parts used, and maintenance reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical assistance and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule repairs and maintenance with mínimal disruption.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns, including during weekends or on-call shifts.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, company policies, and environmental regulations.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Refrigeration / AC Technician in industrial or commercial settings.
- Proficient in reading technical manuals, electrical schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC-R systems and control systems.
- Experience with refrigerant recovery, charging, and leak testing.
- Familiarity with chillers, cold storage systems, and ventilation units.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces or at heights.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in HVAC-R maintenance or EPA refrigerant handling license (if applicable).
- Experience in industrial refrigeration systems or large-scale facilities.
