Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)'s mission is to shape Bank strategy and lead risk management at enterprise level, unconstrained by risk types and geographies, together with ERM's partners in Risk and the Bank. ERM manages the enterprise-level risk management framework so that all risks are identified, owned and controlled Bank-wide; and within the agreed risk appetite and culture.

As part of the CRM Appetite and Portfolio Management, you will be responsible for the delivery of the Bank’s key strategic credit portfolio risk reports, incl. the monthly Risk & Capital Profile (RCP) and Weekly Risk (WRR) Reports, which provide a comprehensive overview of the Deutsche Bank Group’s credit portfolio. These reports are used by the Chief Risk Officer to inform the Enterprise and Group Risk Committees as well as the Management and Supervisory Boards.

You will also own and coordinate targeted risk portfolio reviews, ad-hoc analyses as well as projects for senior management stakeholders as and when required. Such reviews can be complex in nature and require significant amount of cross-divisional engagement and across multiple levels of seniority (incl. MD level).

Overall, Enterprise Risk Analytics & Reporting is engaged in a range of key strategic initiatives across risk types, in close cooperation with Credit Risk Management (CRM), Market Risk Management (MRM) and Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM), aimed at providing further enhanced transparency to risk information and thus supporting risk management action.

**Your key responsibilities**

The main responsibility of CRM Appetite and Portfolio Management is the pro-active monitoring and management of Credit Risk across Deutsche Bank portfolios and business globally. In this context, we design, develop and establish the Credit Risk Appetite framework and supporting policies while also pro-actively ensure adherence to it through a comprehensive set of analyses aimed at identifying potential credit quality changes and risk concentrations and support credit risk controllers and head of credit risk management. Leveraging on detailed risk identification processes and diverse stress test results, the Credit Risk Monitoring and Analysis Team defines and establishes credit risk metrics and Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure Credit Risk across a multitude of dimensions (e.g. country, legal entity, industry, asset class, business units). We elaborate on the resilience and loss absorption of our credit portfolios to pro-actively steer and influence their composition and quality.

**Tasks**:

- Regularly produce Portfolio Reports (e.g. RCP, Credit Cockpit, daily and Weekly Underwriting Pipeline Report, ad-hoc Credit Portfolio Overviews, et alia) ensuring timely delivery and maximum data quality standards
- Pro-actively support the identification and monitoring of portfolio hotspot, emerging risk and potential risk appetite breach. Develop bespoke Portfolio deep-dives and trend analysis to provide management with portfolio insights
- Closely interact with different risk teams and portfolio owners to keep tracking of risk-topics under watch and ensure timely execution of portfolio steering actions
- Support the operationalization of the Governance/Appetite Framework with a corresponding comprehensive set of monitoring processes and tools
- Support the Change-the-Bank initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and analytical capacity.
- Support the preparation of Senior Management presentations for e.g. Rating Agencies and Regulators

**Requirements**:

- Experience in Credit Risk management as Rating/Credit officer and or similar capacity with knowledge in fundamental credit analysis, credit sanctioning process and products across Corporate/ Investment/ Retail banking
- Very good knowledge of standard MS office tools (Excel, Powerpoint) and comfortable in working with large set of data, further knowledge of data analytic tools desirable
- Understanding of the bank’s risk management policies and processes
- Highly analytical and organized; experience in project management
- Very good written and verbal skills given senior audience
- Fluent
