The Ken is India’s first and largest subscriptions-based media company. **About the role**:
Join _The Ken_ to take on one of the biggest challenges—if not the biggest undertaking—in your professional career. We’re seeking researchers to join the team and help us uncover the untold stories about the greatest companies in India and the people who shape them. You’ll think like a historian, archivist, biographer, investor, consumer, and storyteller to craft comprehensive and exhaustive narratives in audio and written form.

**About you**:
We’re looking for someone who has worked in investment research, business journalism, or documentary storytelling. You must be comfortable working with many types of materials—investor letters, oral histories, trade publications, media coverage, public company filings, and more to synthesise hundreds of pages into a focused storyline. Detail, precision, and intellectual rigour are crucial.

**What you are expected to do**:
Become a walking wiki of India’s biggest companies — your deep dives will be unmatched

Work with experienced podcast hosts and editors to develop timelines, story structures, and concept memos

Build and maintain archives of sources and context documents

Fact-check information, stress-test arguments when developing new insights, and shape broad narratives that have not been told holistically before
