The resource needs to be hands-on AWS Cloud Engineering, Cloud Migration
Roles and responsibilities:
- Should have hands-on administration experience with AWS.
- Good knowledge on cloud formation template
- Good knowledge on Python and terraform
- Experience with Implementation of cloud solutions
- Ability to work with all the fundamental platform elements
- Should be able to provision, administer and troubleshoot the foundational services of AWS for networking, compute and storage, in addition to provisioning and managing Cloud Managed Services such as Managed Databases, Caching Engines, Load Balancers
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS Control Tower.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their infrastructure requirements and implement Landing Zone Designs that align with best practices and security guidelines.
- Develop infrastructure as code using AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) and TypeScript to automate the provisioning and configuration of AWS resources.
- Implement progressive deployment strategies, including blue/green and canary deployments, using AWS CDK to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail to ensure visibility and proactive identification of issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to maintain a secure cloud environment.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Stay up to date with the latest AWS services, features, and security practices, providing recommendations for optimizing and enhancing the cloud infrastructure.
- Mentor and guide other team members on AWS best practices, cloud security, and infrastructure automation using AWS CDK.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
