**Essential Job Functions**
- Performs moderately complex analysis of voice/data network needs and contributes to the architectural design, integration and installation to ensure effective customer network architectures.
- Evaluates, tests and documents current network technology baselines for both hardware and software to determine complex networking needs. Assists in develop technology to be deployed internally for various networks.
- Reports and monitors system utilization and associated costs to guide moderately complex short and long term information technology investment decisions as related to voice/data network solutions.
- Oversees network integration and installation projects. Assists in assigning and leading work; provides guidance with regard to expertise, timeliness and completion of project objectives. Addresses performance issues within prescribed guidelines.
- Serves as an expert technical resource across functional teams to ensure consistent knowledge of network architectures.
- Serves as a senior technical resource to assist clients in analyzing and determining future voice/data network needs.

**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or mathematics
- Nine or more years of experience in voice or data networks
- Experience working with network systems, networking principles and practices, data or voice
- Experience working with networking software and hardware
- Experience working with proprietary software and hardware

- Strong organization skills to balance and prioritize work
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Leadership skills to coordinate, oversee and lead team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
