- Maintain high service level (packaging material availability in excess of 99% against daily production schedule).
- Optimise stock holding of packaging materials and thereby minimise working capital requirement.
- Ensure high degree of adherence with respect to laid down purchase systems and processes.

**Responsibility and Mandate**:

- On time availability of packaging materials as per production schedule.
- Coordinate with suppliers and ensure arrival of materials as per agreed schedule and time.
- Maintain stock level as per agreed norms.
- Ensure on time availability of materials required for NPDs (New Products).
- Periodic reconciliation of returnable storage materials (e.g. pallet, plastic containers etc.) with suppliers.
- Proactive escalation and ensuring control of SLOB (slow and obsolete).
- Strict adherence to the laid down purchase processes and systems.

- Plan order quantity based on MRP output or as per indent provided by the manufacturing team.
- Call up vendors, plan delivery schedule with the suppliers as per production requirement.
- Resolution of vendor issues (payment, forms etc.) thru effective interface with suppliers, stores and accounts.
- Ensure inventory of bought out packaging materials is in line with the agreed target through effective planning and monitoring.
- Generate daily, weekly and Monthly level MIS on e.g. Purchase efficiency, rejection of materials, inflation, in process wastage, vendor schedule, SLOB etc.
- Daily and Monthly level MIS on material shortage, purchase efficiency, rejection of materials etc.
- Effective coordination with Central purchase team for improving efficiency in procurement operations and faster resolution of issues.

**Salary**: ₹22,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
