Bills of Material Executive

Responsible for creating, managing, and updating Bill of Materials for our furniture products to ensure accurate and efficient production processes. This role is crucial for maintaining product quality and optimizing manufacturing operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain accurate BOMs for all furniture products, including components, raw materials, and quantities.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure BOMs reflect the latest product specifications.
- Monitor and analyze material costs, recommending cost-saving measures where possible.
- Update BOMs to reflect changes in material costs or supplier pricing.
- Coordinate with inventory management to ensure materials are available as per BOM requirements.
- Track and resolve discrepancies between BOMs and inventory records.
- Ensure BOMs are updated with any changes in production processes or materials.
- Maintain detailed records of BOMs and related documentation.
- Prepare and present reports on BOM accuracy, material costs, and inventory status.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and work to implement best practices in BOM management.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to improve BOM processes.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**:
- Proven experience in BOM management, preferably within the furniture or manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and BOM software.
