**Job Title: Bus Mechanic (TATA, BharatBenz, Eicher)**

**Location: Oragadam, Vallam**

**Job Type: Full-Time /**

**Experience: 2-5 years (preferred)**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on TATA, BharatBenz, and Eicher buses.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Repair or replace faulty parts including engines, gearboxes, axles, clutches, and suspension systems.
- Conduct safety inspections and prepare vehicles for roadworthiness.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools.
- Maintain service records and logs.
- Collaborate with the fleet manager or supervisor for scheduled maintenance plans.
- Use diagnostic software or tools for newer models with electronic control systems (ECUs).

**Requirements**:

- ITI / Diploma in Automobile Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
- 2+ years of experience with TATA, BharatBenz, or Eicher commercial vehicles.
- Knowledge of diesel engine technology and bus mechanical systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and read technical manuals.
- Physical fitness to lift heavy parts and work in workshop conditions.
- Basic understanding of vehicle electrical systems and air brakes.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Certification in heavy vehicle maintenance or training from OEMs (TATA/BharatBenz/Eicher).
- Understanding of BS6/BS4 engine technology.
- Familiarity with CAN bus systems and ECU diagnostics.

**Salary: Based on experience and skill level**
