Role Description
Location: Surat
This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a professional responsible for providing technical support, sales expertise, and exceptional customer service while engaging with both existing and potential clients. You will work closely with customers, consultants, and contractors to understand their technical requirements, delivering customized, engineered solutions that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with manufacturers for inquiries, quotations, and processing via mail and designated formats.
- Search for tenders on government and private portals (e.g., CPP, GEM, NPCIL, GIPCL).
- Prepare and submit tender documents, including price bids, technical bids, and annexures.
- Address technical and commercial queries related to tenders via mail or portals.
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial offers for premium brands such as KSB, IV, NELES, and others.
- Oversee the preparation of customer orders and proforma invoices.
- Process and follow up on ABG (Advance Bank Guarantee) and PBG (Performance Bank Guarantee) requirements.
- Generate and manage purchase orders in internal systems and ensure timely follow-up with manufacturers.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Coordinate material dispatch with the warehouse team and provide dispatch notifications to customers.
- Maintain and track regulatory compliance documents, such as IBR certificates, and ensure their timely submission.
- Prepare periodic reports, including stock summaries, sales offers, and order statuses.
- Provide stock lists to dealers and manufacturers regularly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients, ensuring seamless operations.
- Proven skills in Sales Coordination and Customer Service.
- Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in documentation work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
