**Job Description: Barista/All-RounderJob Summary**:
As a barista/all-rounder, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of a coffee shop or café. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving coffee and other beverages, taking customer orders, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This is a dynamic role that requires strong multitasking skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering high-quality products to customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea, and other beverages according to customer preferences.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that special requests or dietary restrictions are accommodated.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging in friendly and professional interactions with customers, answering any questions they may have, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions, including processing payments, issuing receipts, and returning proper change.
- Prepare and serve food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and salads, ensuring that they meet quality standards and are presented attractively.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, coffee machines, equipment, and utensils to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Restock inventory and supplies as needed, such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and lids.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including specialty coffee options, ingredients, and pricing.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required. Training may be provided.
- Excellent knowledge of coffee and espresso-based drinks, including brewing techniques, grind adjustments, and latte art.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per the needs of the business.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
