**Job descriptions**:
**Position Title**: Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Specialist ( Logistics)

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Generate invoices for logistics services including freight charges, warehousing fees, and related expenses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to service contracts and pricing agreements.2. Monitor accounts receivable balances specific to logistics transactions, follow up on overdue payments, and manage customer inquiries related to billing.3. Collaborate closely with logistics operations and sales teams to validate service delivery and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.4. Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data related to logistics transactions.5. Prepare and analyze financial reports detailing accounts receivable status, aging reports, and collections forecasts for logistics services.6. Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and adjustments related to logistics accounts receivable.7. Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations for logistics revenue and accounts receivable. 8. Receive, review, and process invoices for logistics services including freight forwarding, transportation, customs clearance, and related expenses.9. Verify accuracy of invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and service agreements within the logistics industry.10. Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to obtain necessary approvals and resolve invoice discrepancies promptly.11. Process payments to logistics vendors via check, ACH, or wire transfer, ensuring adherence to payment terms and compliance with internal controls.12. Reconcile accounts payable ledger for logistics-related transactions, maintain accurate records of payments, and assist in month-end closing activities.13. Communicate effectively with logistics providers and internal stakeholders to address payment inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain positive vendor relationships.14. Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis related to logistics costs and accounts payable metrics.

**Education**:
High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Logistics, or related field preferred.Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Accounts Receivable Professional) is a plus.
