The IML (In-Mold Label) Die Cutting Operator is responsible for the operation, setup, and maintenance of die cutting machines used in the printing and packaging industry, specifically for IML processes. The role involves preparing and ensuring the smooth operation of machinery to cut pre-printed or blank labels, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to production schedules. The operator will work closely with the production team to maintain safety, efficiency, and quality throughout the manufacturing process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Machine Setup & Operation**:

- Set up, calibrate, and operate IML die cutting machines to ensure correct cutting and molding of labels.
- Adjust machine parameters such as speed, pressure, and cutting dies according to production specifications.
- Ensure proper material loading, alignment, and feeding of substrates (labels, packaging materials) into the die cutting machine.
- **Quality Control**:

- Perform quality checks on labels, ensuring the proper cut, alignment, and adhesion as per the job specifications.
- Monitor production runs to ensure finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Inspect die-cut labels for defects such as misalignment, tearing, or other imperfections.
- Work with the quality assurance team to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- **Maintenance & Troubleshooting**:

- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of die cutting machines to ensure optimal performance and extend machine lifespan.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues or errors during production.
- Report major malfunctions or breakdowns to the maintenance team for further action.
- **Production Monitoring**:

- Track and report on production progress, including any delays, machine downtime, or material shortages.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, including quantities produced, material usage, and downtime.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating die cutting machinery.
- Ensure the workplace is clean, organized, and compliant with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Wear appropriate protective gear, such as gloves and safety glasses, when operating machinery.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with production teams, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in training new operators and share best practices for machine operation and maintenance.
- Provide feedback to supervisors on production processes and suggest improvements.
- **Inventory & Material Handling**:

- Monitor material levels and notify the supervisor of any shortages or required replenishments.
- Ensure materials used in the die cutting process are stored and handled correctly to prevent damage or contamination.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
