Maintenance Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the hotel's maintenance team to ensure the property, guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas are well maintained and operating efficiently. The role ensures all maintenance activities meet the brand’s standards of excellence, safety, and guest satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and lead the daily activities of the maintenance team, including technicians, electricians, plumbers, and HVAC specialists.
- Assign tasks and ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance and repair work across guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities.
- Monitor and maintain all building systems including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and safety systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of hotel premises and facilities to identify and address any maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and building codes and maintain up-to-date records of inspections, maintenance activities, and regulatory requirements.
- Respond quickly to guest and operational maintenance requests, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and courteously.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, front office, and food and beverage departments to minimize disruption to guests during maintenance activities.
- Assist the Chief Engineer with the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs and energy management initiatives.
- Train, coach, and evaluate maintenance team members; promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, and initiate procurement as necessary within budget guidelines.
- Assist in emergency situations such as power failures, plumbing leaks, equipment malfunctions, and other critical maintenance issues.
- Uphold the hotel’s luxury standards, ensuring all work is performed to the highest quality and brand specifications.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role, preferably in a 5-star hotel or luxury environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing).
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Hands-on experience with maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS) is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy equipment when required.

**Education & Certifications**:

- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or relevant technical field preferred.
- Certification in HVAC, Electrical, or Facilities Management is an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
