**As a Merchandiser for a product-based store, your primary responsibility will be to maximize sales and profitability by ensuring the effective planning, implementation, and execution of visual merchandising strategies. You will work closely with the store management team and product vendors to create an appealing shopping environment that drives customer engagement and promotes the sale of merchandise.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement visually appealing product displays and layouts in accordance with the store's brand image, seasonal promotions, and marketing initiatives. This includes arranging products, signage, and decorations to enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Create and maintain planograms (diagrams illustrating product placement) for various sections of the store, ensuring accurate product placement, inventory levels, and compliance with company standards.
- Regularly review and update planograms based on product availability and sales performance.
- Monitor stock levels, identify slow-moving or discontinued products, and coordinate with the buying and replenishment teams to ensure optimal product assortment.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and assist in stock replenishment as needed.
- Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify trends, understand customer preferences, and make recommendations for adjustments in product displays or assortments. Use this information to drive sales and improve overall performance.
- Work closely with store management, buyers, suppliers, and marketing teams to align visual merchandising strategies with business objectives.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance product displays, packaging, and promotions.
- Collaborate with the store management team to optimise the store layout, ensuring efficient traffic flow and easy navigation for customers.
- Make recommendations for improvements based on customer behaviour and feedback.
- Train store staff on visual merchandising techniques, product knowledge, and effective sales strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure consistent implementation of visual merchandising standards across all store locations.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in merchandising, marketing, or a related field is preferred).
- Proven experience in visual merchandising or a related role within a retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of visual merchandising principles, including colour schemes, product placement, and display techniques.
- Excellent creativity and an eye for detail to create visually appealing displays.
- Proficiency in using planogram software and other visual merchandising tools.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
