**Job Summary**

The Front Office Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors by managing the reception area, handling patient inquiries, processing billing, and coordinating various front-office functions. This role ensures smooth daily operations and enhances patient satisfaction through effective communication and organizational skills.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Reception and Patient Interaction**:

- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
- Register new patients and update existing patient records in the hospital system.
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate with relevant departments.
- **Billing and Payment Processing**:

- Prepare and present bills to patients and/or their families in a transparent and courteous manner.
- Process payments (cash, card, or insurance) and maintain accurate financial records.
- Address billing inquiries and coordinate with the billing department for any clarifications.
- **Front Office Management**:

- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to provide a positive first impression.
- Handle patient admissions, transfers, and discharge paperwork efficiently.
- Coordinate with various hospital departments (nursing, radiology, laboratory, etc.) to ensure patient needs are met.
- **Documentation and Record-Keeping**:

- Keep updated records of daily patient interactions, admissions, and discharges.
- Assist in managing confidential patient records, ensuring data privacy and security compliance.
- Generate and submit daily or weekly front-office reports to management.
- **Customer Service**:

- Handle patient complaints or feedback and escalate issues to management as necessary.
- Provide information on hospital services, pricing, and facilities as required.
- **Emergency Protocols**:

- Support emergency procedures by coordinating with relevant hospital departments.
- Guide patients and visitors to emergency services and provide basic assistance when needed.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Educational Requirements**: High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification preferred).
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare front office role.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospital management software.
- Basic knowledge of billing and payment processes in a healthcare setting.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
