**Position**: Subject Matter Expert (SME)

**Location**: Remote (Part-Time/Contract)

**About the Role**:
We are looking for a versatile and experienced **Subject Matter Expert (SME)** in finance, valuation, and data analysis to support a Finance and Valuation Externship. The SME will play a key role in ensuring the quality of the program by contributing expertise, reviewing program structure and curriculum, advising participants, and providing feedback on deliverables. This position is ideal for finance professionals who are passionate about mentoring and developing future industry leaders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Help design the program structure and provide industry-standard templates for deliverables such as financial models, market analysis reports, and valuation summaries.
- Provide real-world case studies and practical exercises to enhance participants’ understanding of financial modeling, market analysis, and valuation.
- Review and evaluate final submissions, ensuring they meet industry standards and demonstrate strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Participate in webinars, Q&A sessions, or virtual office hours to mentor participants and address their queries.

**Industry Insights**:

- Share practical knowledge and emerging trends in finance and valuation to broaden participants’ perspectives.

**Experience and Background**:

- 7+ years of experience in finance, investment analysis, or valuation.
- Broad knowledge of financial modeling and analysis across different sectors, not limited to real estate.
- CFA, CPA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and valuation techniques.
- Advanced Excel skills are required; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.

**Teaching and Mentorship**:

- Experience as a mentor, trainer, or SME in educational or professional development programs is preferred.
- Ability to simplify complex topics for a diverse audience.

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Dependable, organized, and adaptable to the needs of a dynamic learning environment.
