**Responsibilities**:

- Operate CMM machines to inspect machined parts according to engineering drawings and quality standards.
- Program CMM equipment for dimensional and geometric measurements using appropriate software.
- Conduct routine and complex inspections using probing, scanning, and optical systems.
- Analyze inspection data to determine conformance or non-conformance of parts to required tolerances.
- Collaborate with machinists and engineers to resolve quality issues related to machining processes.
- Perform first-article inspections on new or modified parts for dimensional accuracy and functionality.
- Document inspection results, deviations, and corrective actions in accordance with quality management systems.
- Communicate effectively with production personnel to ensure alignment on quality requirements.
- Provide feedback to machinists and programmers on dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements.
- Perform maintenance and calibration checks on CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in inspection methods and quality control procedures.
- Contribute to the implementation of Lean Six Sigma principles and other quality improvement initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in metrology is preferred.
- Proven experience in operating CMM equipment and performing dimensional inspections in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using CMM software (PC-DMIS) for programming and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles and interpretation of engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurement techniques.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of ISO and IATF standards and quality management systems is advantageous.
