**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day activities related to the general ledger accounting function
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Perform monthly closing, including account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with GAAP / IFRS (as applicable)
- Proficient in utilizing client ERP systems such as Yardi, MRI, and JOE to perform a wide range of property accounting functions.
- Proficiency in MS ExcelFlexible to work in the EST/CST/PST time zones as per business requirements

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**:B.COM / M.COM / MBA(Finance) / CA (Inter) / Any equivalent degree in commerce and accounting.
- **Accounting Knowledge**:Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
- **Analytical Skills**:Strong numerical aptitude with attention to detail.
- **Tech Proficiency**:Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- **Communication**:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Time Management**:Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- **Eagerness to Learn**:Passion for building a career in property accounting.
