**Job Title**: College Principal (Degree College-Department of Commerce and Science) Job Location: Bengaluru, India

**Education Credentials**:Ph.D. degree;
**Work Experience**:15plus years of prior relevant experience/teaching/research in universities, Colleges, and other institutions of higher education.

**Publications**:Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals

**Language Preferences**: English, Hindi and any other regional languages.

**Salary**: Best in the industry.

**Objective of this Role**
- Create a culture of excellence, teamwork, and collaboration among staff, faculty, students, families, and the academic community
- Drive lecturer’s growth by facilitating goalsetting around classroom culture, curriculum development, lesson creation and execution, and data analysis
- Establish and model behaviors that promote high expectations for students, staff, and faculty
- Work with lecturers to constantly assess and improve student achievement results
- Compile measurable data about academic growth and development, and communicate data regularly to superintendent and community members
- Ensure consistent compliance with all local and national funding sources. Roles & Responsibilities:

- Set learning goals for students and lecturers based on national curriculum
- Implement clear processes for curriculum analysis, lesson planning and execution, and data analysis
- Provide oversight for scheduling, academic programming, and other administrative activities
- Adhere to the college annual operating budget for all academic and student life programs
- Research new resources and techniques to improve teaching - Review and implement college policies
- Liaise with other members of the team and academics, to ensure prompt and complete academic consideration of each course.
- Handle emergencies and college crises
- Organize college events and assemblies
- Attend conferences to gain knowledge on current educational trends
- Develop a system for tracking school culture, analyzing data regularly, and defining action plans
- Plan admissions strategies, college fairs and outreach programs for attracting students and improving admission rates.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for students (e.g. implementing hygiene rules).

**Skills Required**:

- Proven success in training and leading students to positively impact outcomes
- Strong skills in project management, problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making, and active listening
- Possess in-depth knowledge of curricular resources and programs - Good administrative & operational skills;
- Ability to organize multiple admissions activities simultaneously;
- Working knowledge of MS Office;
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive, hard-working, and collaborative personality
