**About the team**

The IQ team is part of Merchant Solutions-Worldpay which services the merchants post their onboarding journey. IQ provides a window into business operations so merchants can make decisions based on data and not guesswork. IQ is a robust, easy-to-use reporting tool to access payment processing data and is a comprehensive solution to give actionable insights into running businesses more efficiently. IQ is an innovative business portal providing our customers with single-point online access to their processing information and can be used to access transaction detail, reconciliation data, daily/weekly/monthly statements, along with responding to disputes.

**What you will be doing**

As QA Engineer you will perform the following activities;
- Interpret, understand and validate system requirements for new and existing solutions
- Work closely with the development and product management organizations to derive and interpret complex use cases in order to create the appropriate test plans and test cases.
- Develop test plans, automated test scripts and test cases that adhere to the technical and business requirements
- Execute complex white box and black box functional, system and regression tests and document the overall results
- Categorize, track and triage new and existing defects for recommendation for future releases
- Provide appropriate test metrics around the results of executed tests
- Actively investigate and recommend new tools, processes and test approaches for improving the quality of the solutions
- Triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams and ability to multi-task on multiple products / projects.
- Provide release readiness recommendations based on test execution and defect metrics

**What you bring**:
**Software QA Engineer**

**SKILLS REQUIRED**:
**Primary Skills: STLC, Manual Testing, Automation Testing, SQL, Selenium framework, Java, Rest API, JavaScript and Postman.**

**Secondary Skills: JUnit, Mockito, Reddy API, SoapUI or any others Automation Testing tool**

API testing using postman or similar tools, QA automation with knowledge of API Automation or UI automation using Java and Selenium or similar tools, Ability to write test suite, test cases, execute test cases, track defect cycle

Knowledge of basic JavaScript, Knowledge of API Automation in AWS/Azure cloud, TDD development, Swagger Hub.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Drive automation of test cases to reduce repetitive test case execution.
- Prepare test data set for dev, integration and production environments.
- Collaborate with business and IT decision makers to discuss any doubts on the test plan, test cases and defects.
- Keep current with the latest trends and best practices of software testing.
- Work closely with the other Development and QA team members to improve usability.
- Adhere to agile processes, testing standards and best practices.
- Attend early morning releases when needed.
- Achieve operational excellence by automating processes.

**Educational Qualification**:
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
