Reporting to the National Sales Manager - India, the Business Controller will contribute to the overall operational and financial goals for the Sales region India, working in cooperation with the India Management team to support in key projects, business analysis and strategy execution. This position will be accountable for the financial operations of the Dormer Pramet sales units in the India that includes the broad duties to direct, coordinate and execute all aspects of financial planning, analysis and internal controls. Responsible to oversee the India's pricing function

Key Performance Area:
Business Performance: Conduct product and customer profitability analysis in support of sales management goals and objectives. Ensure that operational goals are linked to overall business plans and assist management in monitoring performance. Support in contingency plans preparation and follow up, at the same time maintain cost efficiency during a market upturn.

Business Partner: Support sales team in design commercial conditions to key customers and channels, which includes rebates, pricing and marketing funds programs. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team. Maintain partnership relation with all members of the management team.

Planning: Consult with management on any aspect of the operation relating to the establishment or attainment of interim and long-term objectives; administration of policies and procedures, and selection from investment alternatives to optimize business and financial performance. Prepare management to act on business opportunities, using an "outside-in" approach, by describing and explaining the financial consequences of such opportunities. Coordinate the strategic business plan, annual profit plans, and quarterly forecasts.

Reporting: Report and interpret financial and operational information in an accurate and timely manner through effective reporting systems and analytical methods. Oversee the issuance of timely financial information to Sandvik Group through the Group reporting systems and procedures


Compliance: Identify, develop and implement appropriate and effective financial controls. Guide the planning and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and systems for all operations to ensure that Sandvik policies and financial guidelines are followed. Coordinate the provision of information to external/internal auditors.

Additional Responsibilities: Participate on teams for various company initiatives and actively seek cost reductions, and improvement of profit margins.

CA, University degree in Finance or/and Business Administration
