JOB DESCRIPTION:
A barista is a coffee-making expert who is responsible for preparing and serving coffee beverages in a café, restaurant, or coffeehouse. The following are some typical roles and responsibilities of a barista:

- Preparing coffee beverages: A barista should be able to prepare different types of coffee beverages such as espresso, latte, cappuccino, and Americano. This includes grinding coffee beans, tamping and brewing espresso shots, steaming milk, and creating latte art.
- Maintaining equipment: A barista should be knowledgeable about the coffee equipment used in the café and should be able to maintain and clean the equipment to ensure that it operates efficiently.
- Customer service: A barista should be friendly, welcoming, and able to engage customers in conversation while taking orders and preparing beverages.
- Cash handling: A barista should be able to manage cash and operate the cash register, handle payments, and give change to customers.
