**Job Title**: Spoken English Teacher
**Location**: Kalwa Slums, Thane
**Organization**: Reach Education Action Programme (REAP)

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach spoken and written English to students, youth, and women from the Kalwa slums.
- Manage and maintain the Language Lab for optimal use by learners.
- Design and deliver lesson plans tailored to learners at different skill levels.
- Track and report on student progress through regular assessments and feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and volunteers to create a supportive learning environment.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings (up to 9 p.m.) based on batch schedules.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of **5 years** in teaching spoken and written English.
- **Proficiency in English**: Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.
- **Scooter License**: Must hold a valid scooter license and be comfortable commuting by scooter between locations.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to adjust working hours based on batch timings, including evenings.
- **Community Commitment**: Passion for working with marginalized communities, particularly students, youth, and women.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience teaching in underserved communities or slum areas.
- Ability to engage and inspire learners of different age groups with innovative teaching methods.
