**Job Summary**:
As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and driving sales. You will be responsible for assisting customers, managing inventory, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store or sales area. Your primary goal is to provide excellent service, contribute to achieving sales targets, and support the sales team in various tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet and assist customers as they enter the store.
- Provide knowledgeable information about products and services.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Offer product recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.
- **Sales Support**:

- Actively engage with customers to drive sales and meet sales targets.
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist with promotional activities and special events.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Ensure that products are displayed in an organized and appealing manner.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
- Help with the organization and cleanliness of the sales floor and stockroom.
- **Store Maintenance**:

- Maintain a clean and organized sales environment.
- Follow store policies and procedures to ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Ensure that the store is adequately staffed during operating hours.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies.
- Prepare reports and documentation as required by the Sales Manager.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (some roles may require additional education or experience).
- Previous retail or sales experience is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
- Basic mathematical skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Ability to perform tasks that involve bending, reaching, and manual dexterity.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of sales techniques and customer service best practices.
- Familiarity with the products or industry relevant to the store.

**Work Environment**:

- Retail store or sales area, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and noise levels.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
