Company Overview:

Our mission is to empower Indian households by equipping them with essential financial planning knowledge. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team, oversee the sales team, and drive business development initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Business Development Associates, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. Set performance targets, conduct regular performance reviews, and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

2. Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets. Identify new market opportunities, target segments, and potential partnerships to expand our customer base and reach.

3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including financial institutions, companies, and organizations. Understand client needs, address inquiries, and provide appropriate solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

4. Sales Planning and Execution: Develop sales plans, forecasts, and budgets to guide sales activities. Lead by example and actively participate in sales efforts, including lead generation, client presentations, negotiations, and closing deals.

5. Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Stay updated with market trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential areas for product enhancement or new product development.

6. Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to ensure effective communication, alignment, and execution of business development strategies. Provide feedback and insights from the market to inform product and service improvements.

7. Reporting and Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, key metrics, and market trends. Provide regular reports to the management team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record in business development and sales, with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Sound knowledge of financial planning and the ability to understand and articulate the value of our programs.
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, sales tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
