Jr. Merchandiser

Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:

- Maintain professional relationships between buyers and manufacturers.
- Evaluate fashion trends, buying patterns, and target market demographics.
- Create visual displays that align with market trends and budget.
- Develop visual merchandise strategies and budgets for multiple locations.
- Purchase necessary apparel for designs.
- Collaborate with designers, suppliers, and distributors to negotiate contracts and deadlines.
- Monitor sampling approval processes and arrange client approvals.
- Negotiate prices, quantities, and timelines with buyers, suppliers, and analysts.
- Ensure consistent delivery within targets and coordinate with internal departments.
- Schedule and manage customer meetings effectively.
- Mediate between production and quality departments.
- Represent the business at fashion shows, trade fairs, and seminars.
- Ensure all stores have sufficient supplies and inventory for visual displays.

Specifications:

- Ability to cost made-up products.
- Enhance quick response relationships between buyers and vendors.
- Strong negotiation skills for prices and quantities.
- Flexible with work hours and travel.
- Extensive knowledge of apparel.
- Excellent communication skills.
