Geoscientist - Reservoir Modeler

**Job Role Summary**:
**Job Role Responsibilities**:
- In consultation with ExxonMobil’s Reservoir Modelling group in Houston, define project objectives, work scopes and deliverables
- Contribute to existing model updates, developing/maintaining workflows, volumetrics, and calibration to dynamic data
- Support business units that require models to screen opportunities, run scenarios and quantify uncertainty
- Support business units to manage country-specific regulatory requirements that have a significant modelling component
- Work with computational scientists, engineers, and geoscientists to test, deliver and support various modelling software tools, models, and algorithms
**Job Role Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on industry experience in reservoir modelling in support of upstream oil and gas operations
- Strong computational and analytical skills; industry experience working integrated reservoir modelling projects
- Strong background in one or more geoscience skills (production/development geology, geophysics, stratigraphy)
- Expert-level Petrel user; knowledge of reservoir simulation/Eclipse, or other modelling software would be an advantage
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with minimum 7.0 GPA or equivalent from a recognized university in Earth Science, Physical Science, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
