Gis Technician

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Capture, manage, and analyze geospatial data from various sources such as satellite imagery, GPS, and field surveys
- Create, edit, and maintain maps, layers, and databases using GIS software (such as **ArcGIS**, **QGIS**, **AutoCAD Map**, etc.)
- Perform georeferencing, digitization, topology correction, and data validation
- Prepare thematic maps and spatial reports for internal teams or client deliverables
- Coordinate with survey teams and data collection personnel to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Support project teams in integrating GIS data with MIS, ERP, or other business systems
- Troubleshoot GIS-related issues and provide technical assistance as required
- Ensure that data is maintained in accordance with project requirements and quality standards

**Required Skills & Competencies**:

- Proficiency in **GIS software**: ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms
- Good understanding of **spatial data formats, projections, and coordinate systems**:

- Basic knowledge of **AutoCAD, GPS devices, and remote sensing** techniques
- Familiarity with **Excel** and database management tools (e.g., MS Access, SQL)
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team

**Educational Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in **Geography, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering**, or a related field

**Experience**:

- **0-2 years** of experience in GIS mapping, data processing, or related fields
- Freshers with relevant academic projects or internships are encouraged to apply

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
