**Job Purpose**

Responsible for Incoming inspection & supplier quality assurance, to ensure defect free supply of parts to production line and continuous development of vendors to improve part quality, also to support new/alternate vendor development for various new/existing products.

**Dimensions**

This position will be reporting to In-charge Supplier QA/Sr Executive QA.

**Responsibilities**
- To ensure defect free supply of parts to production line.
- To ensure consistency in quality through Green/Red flag system.
- Conduct regular supplier audit with respect to annual calendar for continuous improvement and development of suppliers.
- Monitor supplier PPM and identify route cause for high PPM suppliers to take proper actions against them, along with preventive actions to avoid such kind of failure in future.
- Analyse line rejection & in-coming rejections to track repeated issues and address the same with proper CAPA and monitor few batches to check effectiveness of CAPA.
- Maintain tracker for submitted parts for new product development and ensure to get it approved though proper channel along with proper documentation within given time frame.
- To maintain tracker for submitted part for development of new/alternate vendor and ensure its approval through proper outsourcing request and full documentation.
- Provide inputs for monthly vendor performance report/Supplier strategy review
- Conduct internal quality management system audits and prepare internal audit reports and do follow up closer of reported non-conformance if any.
- Analyse supplier NCR register and discuss with supplier for identified actions for the reported issue and timely closer of the same.
- To conduct case-based audits/visits at supplier end to identify route cause of the reported issue and prepare detailed audit report along with all necessary supporting evident & documents.
- Active participation in continuous improvement meetings to hit on part specific issues and resolve the same from route.
- Raise engineering change request as and when required for continuous improvement.

**Tasks**
- Raise NCR within one day when issue is observed.
- Monthly review & follow-up with supplier for NCR closer.
- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required / instructed to maintain and / or improve the efficiency, quality and service provided by the company.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of information relating to the company’s business and staff.

Microsoft Dynamics. Microsoft Office, Teamcenter.

**Skills**
- Experience in Quality Assurance especially in incoming/supplier quality.
- Engineering qualification with problem solving techniques and drive to achieve continual improvements.
- Knowledge in various manufacturing processes like sheet metal fabrication, SMC/Plastic moulding, surface coatings (powder coating/plating), machining, Wiring etc.
- Experience in total quality and vendor management.
- Hands-on experience in ISO Standards for ISO 9001 & Material standards.
- Experience in auditing various type of vendors of different commodities and processes.
- Computer savvy for word, excel, power point and ERP systems.

**Education**

Diploma, BE/B Tech Mechanical / Electro
- Mechanical

**Experience**

Min 4 years of relevant experience in field of incoming inspection & supplier QA activities.
