Disaster Recovery is critical to Alight to ensure the continuity of business operations, and IT services that support the business, in the event of a service disrupting incident. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fantastic team.

Disaster Recovery Regional coordinator is responsible for resilience planning and verification, and support data centers.

**Disaster Recovery Planning and Verification**
- Ensure Disaster Recovery Plans are maintained and reviewed in line with global schedule for deliverables and global standards.
- Coordinate business testing which includes tracking testing results, documentation, and schedule and identification of testers.
- Create participant guide that can be leveraged during the exercise.
- Conduct post-exercise meetings and work with recovery teams to identity, track and resolve resilience issues, actions, and risks to ensure continued improvement of overall resilience.
- Publish, review, and validate exercise execution timeline with stakeholders.
- Create and publish internal and client facing disaster recovery exercise report summaries.
- Provide support as needed for various global disaster recovery initiatives and exercises, and client requirements.

**Castellan/Riskonnect - BC and Disaster Recovery (DR) Tool**
- Maintain and update DR plans in the Solution.
- Administer tool services including new user ids, plan access.
- Develop reports from the tool to support metrics and user inquiries.
- Train and support users as they navigate the tool.

**Miscellaneous Tasks**
- Represent BR in SOC and client audits.
- Respond to client RFPs.
- Review and update standards, policies, overviews, and other DR documents annually.
- Communicate DR concepts to all levels of the company in both written and oral form.

**Business Continuity Planning and Verification**
- Provide support and assistance with business continuity plans and exercises.
- Work with operational teams to ensure recovery arrangements are up to date relevant and fit for purpose.
- Crosstrain with other global team members and provide support as needed for various global BC initiatives and exercises.

**Position Requirements**
- Knowledge of Disaster Recovery
- IT experience and/or experience working with technical teams.
- Good project management skills
- Good English oral and written communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good productivity software skills and knowledge (Service Now)
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as independently while adhering to processes and procedures.
- Always maintain a high standard of professionalism.
- Experience of dealing with different stakeholders within the organization.
- Experience working on adherence to standards.
- Positively react to change.
- This role occasionally requires earlier or later hours during the week, and weekend work due to the involvement on Disaster Recovery exercises.
- May be required to travel.
- Carry out other duties, not covered above, as necessary, which will be deemed appropriate to the nature of the department and/or role.
