**DB2 Database Admin
**Experience: 3**:

- 5 years

**Locations**:Powai, Mumbai

**Primary Skills**:DB2, SQL, Cobol, QMF issues.

**Desired Skills & Responsibilities**:

- Maintenance of database structures and implementation of database changes

With increasing experience in our environment and specialties:

- Collaboration in the creation of physical database models
- Quality assurance of physical database models
- Quality assurance of SQL
- Supporting the solution of SQL performance problems
- Assist developers in formulating complex queries
- Assist users in QMF issues
- Investigate new DB2 features according usability in the group

**Technical Skills**
- Experienced in mainframe software development - preferred under IMS
- Good Cobol knowledge,
- Very good SQL knowledge.
- Experience in database management, DB2 preferred.
- Experience with data modelling (entity-relationship modelling) and database modelling, ideally with ERwin.
- Ideally experience with BMC Catalog Manager and BMC Change Manager.

**Behavioral Skills**
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and quickly adapt to changing requirements
- Ability to understand broader business issues
- Communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a team.
- Good knowledge of English.
