**The Role**

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee - DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. This entry-level role is designed to provide you with the foundational knowledge and practical experience in DevOps practices, automation tools, and cloud technologies. You will work closely with senior DevOps engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software.

- Assist in building, testing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools to allow for the speedy development and release of software.
- Collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff to manage code releases.
- Learn and contribute to automation processes using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, identifying issues, and escalating them as needed.
- Participate in infrastructure setup and configuration on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Help in scripting automated processes for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- Support system administration tasks such as patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Document procedures and provide operational support under supervision.

**What You Bring to the Team**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems and network concepts.
- Familiarity with one or more scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
- Some exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn automation tools and DevOps methodologies.
