Product Designer

**Who We Are**

We’re looking for a **Senior Product Designer** who can do more than just design—someone who can lead, inspire, and transform our digital products through forward-thinking UX UI strategies. This role is ideal for a visionary who thrives on ownership, enjoys mentoring others, and is excited about influencing product direction and shaping the future of design at The Alter Office.

**Experience Required**: Min 4 years of experience in product design.

**What You’ll Do**:

- **Own the Design Vision**: Be the driving force behind the design philosophy and execution across multiple products. You’ll have a significant say in how our digital products evolve from concept to completion.
- **Lead the Design Strategy**: Develop and implement design strategies that align with our business goals and user needs. You’ll take charge of translating high-level product requirements into designs that enhance user engagement and product value.
- **Cross-functional Leadership**: Work closely with leadership, product management, and development teams to ensure design is a core part of our product development process. You’ll drive collaboration and ensure that design thinking is embedded into every aspect of product development.
- **Mentor and Elevate**: Lead by example. You’ll mentor junior and mid-level designers, sharing your expertise and helping them grow. You’ll also set quality benchmarks for design standards across the team.
- **Innovate Relentlessly**: Constantly push the boundaries of what’s possible with design. You’ll lead initiatives in exploring new technologies, tools, and approaches to create modern, user-centered designs that reflect the latest industry trends.
- **Design & Prototype**: Take ownership of key design projects—crafting high-fidelity UI/UX designs and prototypes that define the user experience for new products or features.
- **User Research & Testing**: Collaborate with product and marketing teams to gather user feedback and conduct usability testing, ensuring that designs are validated through real-world insights.
- **Design Systems Ownership**: Oversee and continuously improve our design systems and processes, ensuring that they scale efficiently as we expand our product offerings.
- **Stakeholder Communication**: Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, effectively communicating the rationale behind design decisions and gathering constructive feedback.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **UI/UX Mastery**: With 4+ years of hands-on experience, you possess a deep understanding of user interface and user experience design principles, consistently delivering best-in-class designs.
- **Strategic Thinker**: You’re adept at thinking holistically about product design and can shape long-term strategies that improve the overall user experience while meeting business objectives.
- **Leadership & Mentorship**: You have experience leading design teams, mentoring junior designers, and guiding cross-functional teams through the design process.
- **Creative Innovator**: You’re a problem-solver who isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo. You approach design with a fresh perspective and continually look for new ways to enhance the user experience.
- **Proactive Ownership**: You thrive when given the freedom to take charge of projects, bringing them from ideation to execution with mínimal guidance.
- **Strong Communicator**: You’re able to articulate your design vision and decisions clearly and confidently to stakeholders, aligning design goals with broader company objectives.
- **Research Savvy**: Experience with conducting user research, gathering insights, and iterating designs based on real-world data is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
