**Stores Assistant**

**Location
- Nasik**

**Job Purpose**:
To assist in the efficient handling, storage, and management of materials and inventory within the store, ensuring the availability of stock, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with company policies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
- Update inventory records and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
- Conduct regular stock audits and report discrepancies to the Stores Manager.
- **Material Handling**:

- Safely handle and store materials as per defined procedures.
- Label, categorize, and arrange stock to ensure easy retrieval and identification.
- Dispatch materials to various departments or units as per requisitions.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory transactions.
- Generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for received items.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and standards.
- **Coordination and Communication**:

- Coordinate with the procurement and production departments for material requirements.
- Communicate with vendors for replacement, return, or follow-up on missing/damaged items.
- Respond promptly to internal material requisitions.
- **Housekeeping and Safety**:

- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store.
- Follow safety guidelines for material storage and handling.
- Report any safety hazards, defective equipment, or other issues to the supervisor.
- **Compliance and Process Improvement**:

- Adhere to company policies and inventory control procedures.
- Provide suggestions for improving inventory processes and cost savings.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Diploma/Graduate in any field (preferred: Supply Chain/Inventory Management).
- **Experience**:
1-3 years of experience in stores or inventory management (preferably in a manufacturing setup).
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in using inventory management software or ERP systems.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain concepts is a plus.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Effective communication and team coordination abilities.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
