- 6+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing across **UI, API, and integration layers**
- Lead the design and development of automation frameworks using **JavaScript**, **TypeScript**, **Playwright**, and **RestAssured**
- Optimize and enhance existing **automation frameworks** for scalability, reusability, and efficiency
- Develop and maintain comprehensive **automated test cases** aligned with functional and performance requirements
- Create robust **API automation** suites for backend service validation
- Integrate automation into **CI/CD pipelines** using tools like **Jenkins**, **Azure DevOps**, or **GitLab CI**
- Collaborate with QA, development, DevOps, and product teams to align on test strategies and timelines
- Mentor and guide **junior SDETs**, reviewing code and ensuring delivery of high-quality automation
- Provide clear and actionable **test reports**, coverage metrics, and defect tracking summaries
- Experience with **cloud-based testing platforms** such as **Azure** or **AWS** is a plus
- Knowledge of **BDD frameworks** like **SpecFlow** is preferred
- Ability to incorporate **performance testing** into the automation suite is an added advantage
- Familiarity with **database testing and automation** is desirable
- Comfortable working in **Agile environments**, participating in sprint planning and retrospectives
